Hi I'm Shraddha!

I design, question, and experiment at the edges of technology.

What I’ve been up to lately

Lately, I've been building Periphery, exploring how AI can help product teams test ideas before shipping, and figuring out what it takes to turn an interesting idea into something people actually use. Check it out!

Most designers are using AI. Few are designing AI-natively.

I watched a designer generate wireframes and designs in Figma using Claude and MCP. They called it AI-native design work. I didn’t say anything. But I kept thinking about it. What they’d built was impressive. The output was fast, and the frames were clean.

The Designer’s Job Didn’t Disappear. It Just Got Harder to Hide From.

Everyone’s talking about AI and design like it’s a crisis. Like the job is being hollowed out, or like we should just be excited that we can make more stuff faster. Both framings miss what’s actually happening. Designers who think they’re in a crisis will protect the wrong things. Designers who think they’re just going faster will skip the harder question: what actually changed? Both end up doing the old job badly instead of doing the new job well.

Still chasing that “wait, that’s cool” feeling.
